Synthace was selected for their technological innovation and use of digital skills, as through its flexible automation platform for Computer Aided Biology it enables biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to improve their productivity, and thus accelerate the development of new medicines. This award follows previous recognition from Gartner and the World Economic Forum; where the impact of the Synthace platform in enabling the Lab of the Future and the Industry 4.0 was recognized.

All of the top 100 digital pioneers, which ranged from large multinationals through to individuals, not-for-profits, and family-run businesses, are using digital technology to improve the productivity and international competitiveness of a variety of industries across Europe.

The achievement was celebrated at an event at Google’s Digitaal Atelier in Brussels, where EU Commissioner Mariya Gabriel congratulated all the winners, alongside Matt Brittin, President of Business & Operations for Google Europe, Middle East, & Africa.
